Spring 2022 Camp Details

  • Current 1st-8th graders

  • Pick up and drop off in West Ashley

  • COVID-19 policy: masks required, don't come to camp if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.

  • We're outdoors all week, rain or shine.  See FAQs for details

  • Small groups of 13 campers and 2 staff

  • We travel in vans.

  • Bring a mask, lunch, raincoat, lots of layers, and a change of clothes
     

Our staff are background checked, have taken Darkness to Light, and have Wilderness First Aid Certifications.  Meet the Staff

Booster Seats: While not required in passenger vans, we highly recommend booster seats for this age group.  Please plan to bring / take seats home each day.

Program

Famous Adventures understands the incredible power and positive impact that spending time outdoors has on children’s self confidence, creativity, and mental and physical well being.  Our Girls Outdoor Leadership Program is designed to support young women* one outdoor adventure at a time. Rooted in leadership and focused on connecting to the natural environment, our program is both an exploration of the Lowcountry and an opportunity for self empowerment.​
